Very early in the morning and when the sun its about to break up the skies, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in what seems to be another planet far away, for a moment I put it all together…it all started to make sense…who I was, where I came from…and no, I don´t mean geographically…I mean truly…
My whole existence is based in being embedded somewhere where I don´t belong and finding hard to let go. Peeling away, I shed my past and old believes which prevented me to be who I truly wanted to be. It was not easy to recognize, neither was to change it…a lot of time was spent in persevering the process of understanding those mysterious movements of the mind.
Music and silence was the answer…I firmly believe is like this for many of us, specially artists, musicians, and many more….what is it about music, sound, that so profoundly moves so many people in a culture which requires us to separate rational thoughts from feelings? I escape reality as it seems and find myself immerse in what truly matters, my pure essence, my whole scene and sensorial awareness and relation to the universe

In 2012, with unfailing motivation , A-J ONE continue the path . They manage to self-produce their KyFeel Records label by putting a maxi titled  » its djote penny  » in October 2012 on the market.
Nominee Tube of the Year in 2012 with their first singlet << >> AJ AK 100 FOLLIES ONE comes with a win six place on 12 rap groups selected in Senegal live on channel TFM and Africable .
Praised by professionals Hip Hop , the product is among the nominees for the 6th edition of the festival Hip Hop Awards with label Optimistic Production Safwan Pendra in the following categories : Best Group Album / / Best clip / / Newcomer of the Year 2014. AJ ONE group size then a place in the middle of the hip hop Rap – Afro -beat contributing to radiation

La Niaadjé d’Afrique

Connue sous le nom d’artiste RIDIA N.A, Fatoumata Diarry Fall est née à Dakar, Médina Gounass de Guédiawaye et a grandi entre Sine et Saloum. Depuis sa tendre enfance Ridia est tombée amoureuse de l’art, la culture et la littérature. A l’âge de 12 ans, elle a commencé à interpréter des chansons dans les clubs espagnols, anglais et autres et s’intéresser à la world music. Apres l’obtention de son baccalauréat elle a décidé d’évoluer professionnellement dans la musique.

Ainsi, en 2015, elle fait son entrée dans le monde de la musique en sortant son premier single ‘’Ji Gen’’ dans lequel elle rend hommage à la femme. Dans la même année, en featuring avec son grand frère Ibrahima, elle participe à la promotion du consommer local, ce qui devient son deuxième single. L’année suivante, elle sort son troisième single titré ‘’No One’’ qui parle d’amour. RIDIA NA fait partie des artistes qui s’autoproduisent. Il faut dire qu’elle est une jeune femme responsable, ambitieuse et très autonome. Elle consacre tout son temps entre son travail et sa musique. A première vue, elle parait très réservée et difficile, cependant son sourire la trahit le plus souvent. Elle est très comique, joviale et sociale.

En fin 2016, elle commence à travailler sur son projet d’album sous l’encadrement de Papa Laye Dieng (batteur), Alé Mbaye (pianiste) et Adolph Coly son professeur de musique. Malheureusement des imprévus font bloquer le projet, qu’elle reprend plus tard, en fin 2017. Pour nous faire découvrir un avant-gout de son album, la jeune artiste nous offre un beau titre accompagné d’une très belle vidéo, en début 2018. ‘’Béét Nga Ma’’, une chanson qui dénonce le viol, jugé comme un acte ignoble et lâche. Cette année, 2019, RIDIA a décidé de marquer en fin sa présence dans le monde de la musique, avec un super album. DELTA, le premier « Bébé » de la Niaadjé d’Afrique sera dévoilé au grand public, ce 7 septembre.

Kalsoum parle de sa musique comme d’une musique engagée, pour évoquer les problèmes de la société. Elle s’adresse aux jeunes comme elle, pour les convaincre d’agir.
Quand on écoute Kalsoum rugir, on est saisi par une sorte d’émotion primitive, il y a quelque chose de déchirant, de viscéral dans sa voix. Le suspense naît car elle nous surprend quand sa voix va du grave et l’atmosphère se fait sombre pour devenir un cri aigu de souffrance et on se sent happé par une envie de verser des larmes, mais elle sait nous rassurer et finir dans une voix chuchotée, sensuelle. Le public ne s’y trompe pas (enfants, ados, adultes et plus âgés) son regard s’allume aussitôt, le sourire pointe sur toutes les lèvres. Et pour ceux qui ne comprennent pas le wolof, ils ont une envie frénétique de comprendre ses paroles.

Die Liaison zwischen Andrea Janser und Mr Lunatic ist ganz frisch und sprüht vor Lebenslust, Aufregung, Spannung und Spielfreude.
Ein bisschen crazy sind beide, sowohl Andrea Janser wie auch der fünfköpfige Mr Lunatic; gemeinsam wird unbändig gelacht, über die Stränge gehauen, Risiken eingegangen aber vor allem Musik gemacht die von Herzen kommt und die Herzen berühren möchte. Für 5 Tage haben sie sich zusammen in die französischen Berge bei Gap zurückgezogen und freudig, mit viel Energie ein Album aufgenommen, dass feurig, tiefgründig und herzbrecherisch, wie die beiden selbst, daher kommt. Die Vielseitigkeit von Andrea Janser und Mr Lunatic widerspiegelt sich auch in den verschiedenartigen Stücken, die eine Einheit bilden, aber nicht schubladisierbar sind. So werden soulige Klänge abgelöst von archaischem Swing, Balkanmelodien durch Grooves aus den 20-er Jahren, südamerikanische Melodien im 7/8 durch jazzigen Pop und sphärische Momente von R&B mit einer Prise Rock’n’Roll.

Ja, die beiden machen einfach, was ihnen Spass macht und werden damit bestimmt noch viele andere Menschen beglücken und mitreissen…

Née le 29 août 1976 à Dakar, au Sénégal, Mama Sadio est auteure-compositrice, chanteuse et danseuse d’origine Balante. Artiste éclectique, elle dévéloppe de l’afro-fusion, afro-rock ou afro-pop, naviguant parfois entre afro-cubain, afro-jazz et afro-reggae, des styles intégrant le « kosondé » des Balantes, la musique mandingue ou le mbalax. Installée à l’âge de 19 ans à Saint-Louis où elle rejoint en 1997 le groupe Ninki Nanka avant de monter sa propre formation Sunu Jant (Notre soleil), en 2007, Mama Sadio chante d’une voix de mezzo-soprano en balante (sa langue), en socé, en malinké, en wolof ou en français des thèmes sur les violences faites aux femmes, l’excision, les mariages forcés, la mortalité .
